Na Leo Pumehana  has been considered by many in the Bay Area to be one of the most talented, entertaining Hawaiian music bands in Northern California since our creation in 1995.   We have performed at many large public venues like Jack London Square in Oakland for the Big Island Visitor’s Bureau, Pier 39 in San Francisco for the Winter Festival, and the Priory Basilica in Hawaii for a private wedding.  Having also played for many private and corporate sponsored functions throughout the Bay Area, Huntington Beach, and San Diego, as well as in some of the finer restaurants like the Hukilau Restaurants in San Jose and San Francisco, Tiki Toms Restaurant in Walnut Creek and Oakland, and in resorts and hotels in California and Hawaii for the last 14 years, we are a seasoned, professional band. 

In keeping up with the times and ever-changing musical world and tastes, we have developed our repertoire to not only include the beautiful traditional Hawaiian melodies that we love, but we have also incorporated many new contemporary songs from some of Hawaii's biggest contemporary artists like, Willie K, Brother Noland, John Cruz, Kalapana, Kapena and many more.

Bruddah Derrick DeMotta, band leader, ukulele player and vocalist ; Bruddah Kalani Kaikaka, guitarist and vocalist and Bruddah Rory O'Neill, bass player and vocalist, comprise THE NEW  Na Leo Pumehana's upbeat sound and harmonies.
